Holidays are finally coming, and you may have lot of time to improve your skills during the summer. Registrations are open, and you have to send some informations about you and your clan, which are : the name of the clan, nationality, irc channel, the leader, his mail, the website if you have one, and finally the lineup. frax3@msn.com
We have not decided yet which day we will play the league, because we want to know your opinion. Which day of the week is more suitable for you guys? Results of this survey will determine when the CTF will be played, like this Net-Leet is able to satisfy the majority.
The CTF league will also have a winner and a loser bracket.
Last but not least, for the third CTF season, the map pool has been changed, with a removal of w7 & wcp5. On-xctf3 and ospctf2 will be the two maps added.
Net-Leet members are willing to propose a more offensive and open game with this map choice.
Matches will take place on the following 8 maps : ctf2, wcp1, wcp9, wcp14, wcp15, wcp22, w3, ospctf2 and on-xctf3. You can download those maps here : http://www.on-x.net

La volonté des membres de Net-Leet étant de s'orienter vers un jeu plus ouvert, plus offensif. Les rencontres se dérouleront donc désormais sur les 9 maps suivantes : ctf2, wcp1, wcp9, wcp14, wcp15, wcp22, w3, ospctf2 et on-xctf3.

The second season of Net-leet cup Quake 3 OSP CTF is finished.
29 teams, organised in 4 divisions, have responded to it.
This second edition confirms the will of the Net-leet cup of being open to european clans : 23 foreign teams have participated in it.
The first division was won by Humphed (EUR) : not a match loss, and a difference of +41. Follow just behind the Hardcores Quakers (EUR) in second position, and we find Oxmoze (EUR) in third.
The second division was dominated by the 2ex clan (EUR) : no loss for a difference of +67. The third and the forth division gave us a great show, since the level was so well balanced with all the teams in it. Winners were respectively the Witness of War (FR) and the Electronics Sports Players (EUR) (who gain the first spot against Vinco (ITA) with the goal-average). After the success of this second season, Net-leet staff want to thank all the person who took part in it : teams and admins.
In a nutshell, Net-leet Cup is ready to start again soon with an extra-large program :

La deuxième saison de la Net-Leet cup Quake 3 OSP CTF est finie.
29 équipes, réparties en 4 divisions, y ont répondu présent.
Cette deuxième édition confirme la volonté de la Net-Leet cup de s'ouvrir aux clans européens : 23 équipes étrangères y ont participé !
La première division marque la victoire des Humped (EUR) : aucun match perdu, différence de +41. Suivent sur le podium les Hardcores Quakers (EUR) en seconde place et Oxmoze (EUR) sur la dernière marche.
La deuxième division fut quant à elle survolée par les 2ex (EUR) : aucune
défaite et une différence de +67. Grace au niveau assez homogène des équipes participantes, les troisièmes et quatrièmes divisions nous ont offert un beau spectacle.
Les vainqueurs furent respectivement les Witness of War (FR) et les Electronics Sports Players (EUR) (devançant finallement les Vinco (ITA) au goal-average).Toutes les infos, tous les résultats sont disponibles sur le site : www.net-leet.com.
Après la réussite de ce second opus, le staff de Net-Leet tient à remercier tous les participants : équipes comme admins.

#Net-leet is a new organisation of leagues started up this year to help accommodate the european quake 3 community which in many peoples opinion clanbase and jolt dont do so well, due to their lack of patience and willingness to open up leagues for as many clans that are interested in playing quake 3 (sorry bogfeet =], jolt). we also have some new rules like if there is a difference of 15ms or over between 2 teams we will change the server and if an appropriate server cannot be found we will have 3 #Net-leet servers available. We also have an event called the blindtest which is when our official radio station plays a random track for you to just guess who that is performing to gain points and then the next track is played for other points to be earned (this is done on the #Net-leet channel).
The first season of #Net-leet was a productive and smooth one with 24 clans participating in our quake3 CTF 5v5 league. The league was split up into 3 divisions consisting of many regular clans and some newly formed clans with the likes of mobach, nwk, hq, oMg, cata, humped, KoW and others.
Division 1 went well with 8 highly skilled clans showing some great matchs, but none the less mobach was on top the whole season with humped closely following, as u would have expected with mobachs experience over the rest and how well synchronized they are in comparison to other clans of similar skill. Next season in mind might be a different story for mobach as some new clans are formed i.e crocs and solaw who may be interested in playing #Net-leet CTF.
Also division 2 went well for most clans with the exception of cata who were not able to play all the games in their division as they had certain player problems, this being a big let down seeing as they did well and were more than able to get a promotion to division1 in season 2.
There was plenty of good close games for the div2 clans this season seeing some high quality play by nwk and hq who were dominating the rest of the clans in their division. hq were the winners of this season picking up two lucky default games from souls and EF and of course fairly winning the rest of the games this season with considerable help from zoid and hamstahue. In fairness nwk deserved the promotion as they were unlucky with some of the games, but also have a strong side like hq worthy of division 1 for next season.
Division 3 was more of a one way lead as SoG highly dominated the rest of the clans to leave them in their tracks, but credit has to be given to clans like CoD and rDt who also put up some great fights. season 2 should be a more interesting experience for SoG as that is where their standard of play is in my opinion.

La première saison de la coupe Net-Leet Quake3 OSP CTF est arrivée à son terme.
Ce lancement sur les mois de juillet et août a attiré 24 clans, répartis en 3 divsions. Les équipes avaient une dizaine de jours pour organiser leurs 2 matches (ce qui a permis durant l'été de trouver des dates où tous les menbres de clans étaient disponibles).
Les EU : Mobach remportent la league en première division, mais on remarque un podium final homogène.
En effet, trois clans accumulent le même nombre de points : les EU : Mobach, les EU : Humped et les FR : Poetik Quakers.
La différence entre les caps mises et las caps encaissées les a departagé.
Concernant la division 2 les DE : Cataclysm prennent la première place, suivis par les UK : Hardcore Quakers, les FR : Nawak puis les EU : Souls.
les FR : SoG ont largement dominé la division 3 (+106 !). Les scores de tous les matches, les membres des équipes, et toutes les infos nécéssaires se trouvent sur le site officiel.
Un coup d'essai pour cette nouvelle league qui s'est donc bien deroulée dans l'ensemble. Le Staff tient ainsi à remercier tous les clans qui ont participé.
D'ailleurs, à peine finie, voilà que Net-Leet organise une seconde édition qui devrait commencer début octobre. Notons à cette occasion l'apparition d'une nouvelle règle: Si la différence de ping average est supérieure à 15ms, le server doit être changé; le tout dans l'objectif de s'ouvrir aux clans européens. Comme pour la première édition, une semaine est donnée pour organiser les matches.

Net-leet, starts Monday 10/07
Today, the 25 teams engaged for the Net-leet Summercup are going to begin to play !
You can check the website to see the schedule of the matches. In a nutshell, you have 10 days to play two matches, which is honest. Everything is on your side to contact the other team, and you will play on a french server if you are a.... french team. What a chance !
Some changes have been made in the divisions : WZ are now in div2, and the fkz.team will play in division 1.
There will be 8 teams in division 1, 2, and 3.
I remind you that Frax and Neo are available on #net-leet if you some problems or questions.
Last but not least, I finish with the shoutcast, since lots of matches of this summercup will be followed on the Net-leet radio by some volonteers. Teams have to warn the admins about the dayand hour of the match if they want a shoutcast and a good organisation of the league.

A partir de ce lundi 10 Août, les 25 équipes engagées pour la Net-leet Summercup pourront commencer à jouer!
Vous pouvez déjà consulter le site pour voir le planning des rencontres. En gros, vous avez à chaque fois dix jours pour jouer deux matchs, ca me paraît honnête. A vous de contacter l'équipe adverse (vous trouverez les coordonnées ici), et sachez que vous jouerez sur serveur français si vous êtes une équipe.. française. Quelle chance!
A l'heure où j'écris cette news, les petites modifications sur les divisions n'ont pas encore été apportées : les WZ vont, à leur demande, se retrouver en division 2, et la fkz.team va rejoindre la ligue et être intégrée en division 1. Nous aurons donc 9 équipes en division 1 et 2, 7 en division 3. Un léger déséquilibre donc, mais qui n'est que secondaire je pense.
Je vous rappelle que frax et neouf sont à votre disposition sur #net-leet si vous avez des soucis ou des questions.
Enfin, je termine avec la shoutcast.. puisque de nombreux matchs de cette summercup seront régulièrement commentés sur la radio Net-leet par des volontaires. Les équipes sont donc priées d'avertir les admins des jours et heures de matchs pour que l'on puisse vous fournir des admins si besoin, et que vos matchs soient éventuellement commentés.

French quakers want to come back on the scene, and stop (kill in the egg)
their "whinor reputation" by making a brand new french league.
Net-leet.com is created for that purpose, and is organising a summercup for the last french quakers still active who want to show their skills. Based on the previous q3lfr, which is inactive for several months now in tdm and ctf, the main objective is to give a seconde breath for ctf, and why not tdm if we are enough, in France for the new acamedic year.
This summercup will be a good challenge for us and the european clans who are willing to play. It may be a better way to warm up and have some fun somewhere else than on coolpickup.fr.

Voila un petit moment qu'on se rabat sur la ligue jolt et clanbase et qu'on whine soit sur les serveurs pourris, soit sur le côté anti-fr des autres...
Net-leet.com veut remédier à ca et organise une summercup pour nos derniers indestructibles petits quakers français. Sur les pas de la q3lfr, qui est bien malheureusement inactive en tdm & ctf, l'objectif est de relancer un peu le ctf (et pourquoi pas le tdm si on trouve demandeur) en France pour pouvoir organiser une ligue française a la rentrée.
Cette SummerCup sera l'occasion de se chauffer et de rejouer entre nous ailleurs que sur coolpickup, mais aussi de jouer des équipes européennes sur serveur français, puisqu'elles seront autorisées à participer.
N'hésitez pas non plus à contacter les admins présents sur #net-leet si vous voulez en savoir plus.
